St. Mary is currently seeking volunteers to get involved in the youth ministry. Our goal is to provide for a wholesome opportunity to develop Christ-centered relationships. There is room for you to volunteer in Sunday School, Youth Bible Study, One Church One School, and a myriad of other activities that would be beneficial to the community's young people.

NOTE: A background check by the White County Sheriff Department is required for all people who work with the youth at St. Mary CME Church.

At St. Mary, evangelism includes spreading of the Christian gospel by not only public preaching, but also by personal witness. Even if you are not a public speaker, you can assist with personal witness. The church has ministries designed to let the community know that St. Mary loves Christ and is in the area. Our evangelism efforts are especially designed to help people grow their Christ-centered relationships. You can serve as a door-knocker or as a prayer warrior for those spreading God's Word in the community. Imagine the pleasure you can give to God by bringing at least one soul to Christ through St. Mary.

Our souls are united with rhythmic expressions of worship. This expression is a way to show God reverence while simultaneously uniting the church. Singing and the gospel are ways to bring believers closer together.

If you have keyboarding or other musical gifts, St. Mary can use you. If you don't have the gift of playing an instrument, the ability to teach people how to is welcomed. Our goal is to lift up the name of Christ through song. Your gift can edify the Lord and serve as a catalyst for more people to come to Christ.

Help the community decide to come for the music, and stay for the salvation. We welcome your musical abilities as a method of worship and service at St. Mary.

St. Mary promotes the effective use of technology for service in ministry. We are seeking volunteers to help us identify affordable tools that will promote efficient ministry. Some examples include website design (Google Sites), Social Media management, and other challenging, but fun uses of tech. If you have these skills, you can multiply your gift and, as a result, participate in bringing many to Christ.

An effective media center volunteer will work to oversee the hardware related to St. Mary. These servants are interested in learning and applying concepts to promote the effective use of soundboards, microphones, projectors, television monitors, computers, and tablets. Your willingness to continuously learn about this changing technology is a huge plus.

Lay Teachers are valuable assets at St. Mary CME Church. If you love to see the results of your efforts and knowledge, becoming a Lay volunteer may be an effective use of your gift. At St. Mary, you can use your skills in organizing classes and delivering knowledge to members and the community at large. Even if you don't know very much about a specific subject, your networking skills can help the church find the appropriate resources. Please consider volunteering in the Lay department as we help you grow your Christ-centered relationship.
